Speaking Submissions Closed for 2025
Speaking submissions for 2025 will be reviewed by our Sound Board, and we’ll reach out after they’ve completed their process. Make sure to register and save your spot to attend. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
How to Submit to Speak at the BEATS Conference
The BEATS Speaker Submission form can be found by clicking the “Submit to Speak” button.
This page has 6 tabs (Speaker Info, References, Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Submit).
Speaker Info Tab
Fill out as much information about yourself as possible. While the option to include a promo video is not required, it is recommended as it will allow our Sound Board advisory team to fully assess your skills. That video can be a promotional video you already have (ex., a recording of an event or a sizzle reel promo) or a custom one you create for the event and topics you are submitting.
References Tab
Provide name and contact information for 3 clients who have hired you to speak for their organization/event so our Sound Board advisory team can fully assess your submission.
Sessions Tabs (3)
Provide a title, a description, 3 objectives the attendees will gain from each session topic, and the option to choose which audience(s) (Educators, Associations and Education Directors, Joint, or Keynote) you feel the topic is intended for. Each topic you submit can be for the same or different audiences.
While you don’t have to submit 3 topics, it is recommended that you do as it will increase your chances of being chosen. For more information on the 4 audiences and advice on potential topics for each one, see the Topic Submission Guidance section below.
Submission Process
The deadline to submit your speaker sessions is 12/31/24. After the first of the year, our Sound Board advisory team will then begin reviewing and vetting the submissions and the plan is to reach out to each speaker who made a submission by the middle of February to let them know the results.
While registration for the event is not a requirement and has no bearing on the decision if your session topics are chosen, we are suggesting that you might want to consider registering for the event and snagging one of the few remaining Main Stage spots at https://beatsconference.com/speaker-attend/. That way, just in case your sessions aren’t chosen, you will not miss out on the event that is going to be the premier space for speakers to connect with each other and those who hire us going forward. If that is not of interest, the only other timeline to consider is the early-bird pricing that ends on 1/31/25.
To clarify, if you do register now and your sessions are chosen, we will gladly refund your fees for the registration and/or the Main Stage and open that Main Stage spot up to another speaker on the waiting list so that another speaker has a chance to shine.
